Title: your opinions on WWE & other pro wrestling Post by: smittyjr on March 20, 2005, 01:38:25 AM I was just wanting some insight on this. What are YOUR opinions on WWE & other pro wrestling tv programs? Good, bad, a sin to watch, whatever..........just waiting on responses.........

I think that there could be problems watching that with the women they have on there, but the same thing could be said about the cheerleaders on football and basketball. I'm sure some guys can watch it and be fine. I can't, so I don't. I like BASEBALL!!!!! ;D

I watched it seldomly in the 80's. It was funny and Hulk Hogan was pretty much harmless along with wrestlers like Andre The Giant....Now its constant vulgarity, profanity, sexual intensions. It really doesn't do much for me. I know my nieces watch it at their house and have asked to watch it when visiting my house but I do not let them. It has no value of glorifying the Lord and the things in which they say & do prove no way to be how "Godly" Men or Women act. Just my personal opinon. The constant profanity, vulgarity, sexual escapeds, are a insult to the Lord. Remember that we are to keep as spiritally clean as possible. I use to go to the matches in L.A. I also had a teacher, that was a wrestler. Thats how I went to the matches. Back in the 70's, yes, I would have taken Jesus with me.
