Title: is anyone here in the military? Post by: twinkledust007 on February 14, 2005, 12:52:29 AM hey y'all. i was just wondering if any of y'all are in the military. my dad is in the air force reserves and the air national guard and he's going overseas this summer for about 45 days or more.

I am retired military and converse daily with those still active, so I do understand this quite well.

Post by: twinkledust007 on February 15, 2005, 12:25:15 AM i didn't think about not talking about my dad. i realize now that i could have left that part out. i just wanted to meet others who are in the military also. glad to know you're not offended. i'm a pretty calm person and i don't get upset easily, but when i read what y'all said, it sounded like y'all were mad or upset or something. but now i know that i shouldn't ever say that stuff online. please forgive me.
