Title: Exodus chariot wheels?
Post by: Symphony on July 07, 2003, 09:51:59 PM

Two weeks ago Paul Harvey reported discovery of encrusted chariot wheels bottom of Red Sea; were able to be dated to the time of the Exodus by the style of manufacture known of that time(eight spokes per wheel).

Was wondering if anyone had heard of this, elsewhere??

Last winter someone posted underwater photos of the wheels with the website, here.  But I sort of dismissed it then.

But when I heard it on Paul Harvey two weeks ago...  'Tho of course he's certainly not the last word on anything.

But I have begun to wonder sometimes that even if it is valid, which I think it probably is, if it will receive much attention.  My current copy of Bib'l Arch'y Review magazine has an article in it, by a professional archaeologist, saying that Bib'l Arch'y is increasingly just being dismissed in professional or academic circles.  Hearts may just simply be growing cold to it, regardless.

If I've time, I think I'll do a Net search, though, to see if I can find anything on it...
