I've been to upstate NY once during a blizzard. I spent several days about 50 miles South of the Canadian border. I'm from Oklahoma, so the winter weather there would be really hard for me to get used to, but I would say without any doubt that it was incredibly beautiful. Around every corner was another gorgeous picture of God's creation. I want to go back some day during a warmer time of the year. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be green and lush in the spring or summer. I also got to meet some of the kind people who live in the small villages and towns in the mountains. I love the snow but if you plan on comeing back up try to come around the fall when the leaves of the tree turn bright red and yellow you would love it.
