Title: Favorite Chapter? Post by: Symphony on December 22, 2004, 11:02:21 PM Does anyone have a favorite chapter, in the Bible? Why? An obvious one, of course, is I Corinthians 13. Title: Re:Favorite Chapter? Post by: Symphony on December 25, 2004, 12:38:56 AM I think for some reason, from the first verse of the chapter to the last verse of the same chapter, one of my favorite chapters is Ephesians Ch. 5. I can imagine asking someone else, or if not, reading it myself, outloud, to a congregation of current liberal 'Christians' - that is, perhaps, all of the things going on in the liberal churches today, in groups where they rarely consult, or perhaps just cherry pick, scripture. And asking someone to just carefully read that chapter from begining to end. It seems so inclusive, or exhaustive, of general Christian and biblical themes, incisive, but never dwelling on each, but moving on. The chapter just seems to move, like a honey bee from blossom to blossom, highlighting essential, and beautiful themes of the meaning of our Life in Him. Title: Re:Favorite Chapter?
