Post by: Jesusinme on December 10, 2004, 06:26:27 AM I am sure everyone is familiar with Linus' speech about Jesus, and the true meaning of Christmas......Well CBS used to carry it, but sadly, the rights have recently have been bought by ABC. (We all know what is behind that network) This year, there has been several new cartoons with the peanuts.The original is on this year, but I have a feeling that all these new episodes are the networks sneaky way of getting Linus' message off the air. :'( I hope I am wrong. I am sure that message has touched many through the years, especially Children that have noone to tell them the truth

Post by: mheffernen5 on December 30, 2004, 05:39:02 PM Sorry for such a late response to this but I have the video and I saw the real version on ABC or ABC Family. I hope they don't take out the real meaning of Christmas and don't just make it into Santa Claus and that stuff. The networks should keep the classic episodes going to teach about God giving us Jesus for Christmas to take away the sins of the world.
