Before I was BORN AGAIN .I got healed .My wife was taking a shower .I was playinmg with a gun .a 9mm .It went off as I lay in the bed .I looked around and saw a black place on my foot .it did not bleed at 1st .i raised my foot and trhen a lotb of blood shot past me .I knocked on the bathrom door and told her I shot my self .She had been in the shower and heard nothing .She opened the door and fell out seeing all the blood .Make a long story short I had the miami dolfpins team dr .Who did not believe in GOD .He told me I would never walk or walk with a bad limp.because I shot my big toe bone out of my foot .The toe was there .but back in my foot a little .So I had broke my hand right after my foot was shot .i had a cast on my hand and a cast on my foot .We had $8.00 and she had our 1st child and was bleeding a lot .She was crying saying our bills arev due and we have no milk or food .What will we do .I said ,I will go to the dog track .This was in miami fl. She said are you nuts .Well i went there and parked accross the street .notb wanting to pay the dollar to park .I bleed every where I walked and was weak from losing blood .i would stopm and sit on the parking lot .people in cars would cuss at me .I got inside .Went and bought a ticket .I went to the cash window and leaned on the little counter .The guy ask did I have a tivket from some other day .I say no .on this 1st race .he thought i was nuts .Well the race run and I cashed my ticket .I did thios 4 times in a row .took the money home gave it to my wife .The next friday we had $20.00 I told her I will go back .SHE SAID YES GO .I did this 4 different times the last time I hit 3 in a row then missed .DId not go back again for a very long time .Mean while I had  another doctors appointment .The nurse xrayed me took me to his office .He looked at it and said this is not mr cooks xray .This mabn has a whole foot .mr cook does not .She said it is .i xrayed him my seld .Me with my head bowed ashamed to say ?I said I know what happened .He said what ?I said the LORD healed me .HE said there is no GOD .I said did you put it back .he said nno .I said ,did I grow it back ?He said no .I said then GOD MUST OF PUT IT BACK .He went nuts knocked everything off his desk and just cussing and then went and looked up to heaven .His nurse shaking very bad .Said can I leave .HE said get out .I waited .Then said ,can I go too ?He said get out and never come back here .I said ok and left .

Say talk about my sisters .When i came to the lord .my whole family turned on me .But when 2 of my sisters were dying .They ask for me .I led both to the LORD .and was very happy ,my lord gave me this honor .my one sister had got to the point she could not talk .your husband told me on the phone .I said I still want to come see her .he said ok .but your wasting your time .I went there .she was about 60lbs or less .I told her about and salvation .She ask him into her heart . as I was leaving the room .She got half out of bed and had a real grip on my arm ,pulled me back ward .real power .and said please ,don"t leave me .I could not believe how stonge she was at that moment .But I had told her before .she had left her husband ,he had left his wife ,and they married each other .I told her this will bring sickness to your body .And for many years .I saw no sickness with them .But knew GOD word tells us this sin brings sickness . I have 4 sister 2 still alive .but one of them is sick also .The last healthy one .goes to church .and I got to pray with my mom before she died .She said the sinners pray with me also .but i never got to pray with any of my aunts or uncles or step dad .which my mom had 13 brothers and sisters .

I've been a Christian for 6 years. My family were Christians as far as I knew too. However, last year I started to actually walk in my spirit and truly worship God. It was then that my family turned on me. Another guy I knew from my childhood also turned on me. The guy said I was stupid and foolish. And my parents and sisters think I belong to a cult. Even though I have completely refuted them through the Word of God they still refuse to believe.

But Brother gary, I know why that happens! For those who desire to live godly lives will be persecuted. And if Jesus was persecuted then we will be persecuted also.

But you can rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.

 I do believe you shot yourself while playing with a gun. No doubt you will agree that was highly irresponsible, and you could have shot your wife, or kids. In that respect, it was dangerous and yes, foolish to play with a loaded gun in your house. Do you realise that if the cops had been called, you would have been charged?

 If I was down to my last $8 - I sure as heck wouldn't gamble with it. I would have gone to my church and asked for help. Or, I would have contacted one of many organizations throughout all of North America for help. That's the way God would have wanted you to do it my friend.

 I am not angry at you personally Gary. I got a wee bit upset when you questioned my relationship with God in light of the fact that in one of your posts, you said God told you to gamble, and that you gambled often - I strongly disagree with you on that one Gary. I'm not calling you a liar, I believe you truly thought God told you to gamble. We must be very careful about what we believe is coming from God. satan is a master deceiver my friend and can appear as an angel of light. Sometimes, we hear what we want to hear,(not specifically speaking of you Gary) so that we can justify doing certain ungodly things.

 Gary, there are many thousands of people who truly think God tells them to do all kinds of sinful things - God would never tell us to do something like gambling or getting drunk. Let me give an example:

 There are thousands of gay Christians - these people truly believe God tells them it's good to be homosexual, and that they should be married! It doesn't get through to these gay Christians that God dispises homosexuality - A homosexual can of course, be forgiven and saved - but they would have to stop all homosexual practises and ask for Jesus to forgive them. The problem, is that they honestly believe God would never deny people who are simply in love...with their own sex. They don't want to hear their fellow Christians tell them that God does not want them to be gay.

I've even heard people say that God doesn't care if they do drugs! The argument for that is beyond stupid! "if God didn't want us to smoke weed, then why did he grow the plant?" or "it's natural" Ya, poison ivy is natural also, so puff it up!

See Gary, we are all guilty of this mistake from time to time in our lives - somthing we get into in our lives which is not Godly, but we rationalize it in our own minds, or even worse - satan pretends to be Jesus, and tells us it's ok. I know first hand, because I used to get loaded and smoke weed all the time - I justified it by believing it was OK with God. When I stopped to really consider if I would do these things right in front of Jesus - I began to get honest with myself and with God and I quit all those "fun" things.

 I'm not trying to pick an argument here Gary - I just wanted to clear the air publicly, because I have been getting pm's from one of your friends.

 I'm not going to remove your post, because, in this version, you don't specifically say God told you to gamble. You actually say that it was your own decision to gamble.

I look at it this way. If I'm hurting for money, (were you working before you got injured) and I only have five dollars left - I would think to myself - if Jesus was standing right beside me in the flesh - would Jesus accompany me to the track, so I could gamble? or would Jesus walk to church with me, so I could ask for help?

Gambling has ruined many peoples lives Gary - it becomes an all consuming addiction to some, and they end up losing everything. People get so consumed by gambling that there are even stories in the paper about parents who leave their children in the car at the casino parking lot, so they can gamble for hours! It is a destructive enterprise my friend. You may not have been adversely effected by your admitted regular gambling - then again, perhaps there's more to your gambling story than you're willing to share. The point is, that we, as Christians should not participate in anything that causes such heartache, and loss of entire families.

Remember when Jesus went nuts and started whipping people with braided rope, and turning tables upside down in the synagogue? He did that because the merchants were over charging the people! They were ripping people off, and Jesus got very angry. How much more angry will Jesus be at the casino owners, and those who participate in the biggest rip-off of all history? At least the customers walked out of the Synagogue with merchandise under their arms - in gambling venues, nine times out of ten, people go home broke. Some spend their entire pay check - others mortgage their homes to pay off debts, or try their "luck" again - others spend their last few bucks on gambling.

 The proceeds of gambling go to organized crime and straight into the pockets of millionaires. The odds are stacked against any gambler, so 99% of the time, you lose money. Gambling is based on greed my friend - people who gamble want "more money" remember what Jesus said? "A kingdom divided against itself will fall" In other words - something that causes the destruction and misery of millions of people is not from God. It's either Godly, or it is not Godly. Something that causes death - divorce - loss of property - loss of children - loss of money - loss of dignity - is addictive - causes good people to lie and steal - causes people to murder or commit suicide - etc... is not Godly.

Jesus wants us to live Godly lives. Jesus wants us to be role-models for others. Anything that can cause addictive behaviour is an evil exercise, anything that can cause families to split up is an evil deal - anything that can cause people to lose their homes, cars, life savings is an evil plot from satan, and not from God.

 So, I hope I made myself clear Gary - I'm not angry at you personally my friend - I can see that you really love Jesus - I believe your testimony - that is - I believe you shot yourself and I believe you thought God wanted you to participate in an ungodly exercise - I just can not agree with you on the God told you to gamble business my friend.

I just want to say ?GOD does not work as we would have HIm .Many times HE has done things thast look unnormal to us .He looks at our hearts .Yes many have been destoryed drinking gambling ,eating too much ,taking drugs ,car wrecks .every which way .I do not lie ,nor need too .I once never gave my testamonys ,because I knew they would be judged by the natural mind .Yet MY LORD told me to tell the things ,HE has done in my life .Still ,I hate to tell ?But I do for my LORD has told me .I must ansure to MY GOD .I can not worry how others may look at things .I want NO person to e-mail or stand up for me .GOD will judge me alone .I do know one thing ?GOD died ,tghat we may have a personal relationship with HIM .I will say no more on this because it will only cause debate ,which is not wanted here? LOVING  one another is enough .
