Pete's the name and here's a bit about myself. I live in the South Wales valleys in the UK. I'm married and have two children: Girl 22 and boy 18. I have been saved by God's grace for nearly 20yrs and was ordained into the ministry in 1992 and now pastor a baptist church after having spent 17yrs in the AOG. I've been online about 4yrs now and like playing online chess and checkers (as they say in the USA) :) So I'm just here to see if I can help anyone or if the need comes up I may need a bit of help or advise myself and I would like to think that I might be able to find it here. I've spent most of my time on trips over there in Mid-Wales (near Devil's Bridge and in the Rheidol Valley) and in Snowdonia but did a bit of hiking around the Brecon Beacons one year. We have quite a few Pastors using the forum, and I give thanks for them. There are pros and cons to the Internet and to forums, but the Internet is a wonderful way to share the Gospel of God's Grace. We have many sweet Christians here, and I honestly think that Christians Unite stands as a beacon of Light for a lost and dying world. I certainly give thanks for many beautiful messages here that will help the lost and strengthen God's children.
