It's really nice to come to this forum as I use the same forum software as this for my own site (although mine is now an upgrade) so it's very familiar.

You're in Florida!  Is it very warm down there?


Is there a place on this site where photography is discussed or where we can see others photos?

Its in the mid 80's here in Florida

At this time they dont have a place for photos, maybe you can give CU some ideas.

Thanks!  I just looked at your website as well and I see it's Newfoundland!  Wow!  I nearly got there once.  Was in the lineup to get on the boat in North Sydney but my father wanted to get home so we turned around.  He had just lost his wife (my mother) and we were on a "get away from it all" kind of little journey after the funeral.

Well, here's the story...

My friend who is older just lost her husband and wants to go down.  She is one of 17 kids in her family.  Now that I'm a widow, it would be good to go but my car isn't the greatest so we're going to rent one down there and spend two weeks.  She wanted to go in November but I have too many appointments that I couldn't change.  We'll go to PEI too to North Rustico and then up to Sydney too.  So, rather than go in December, we'll wait till spring.

Now... you know the ... REST of the story!   8)

oh, I wouldnt want to be driving all over the atlantic coast in late fall either, its cold enough to snow already! :-[

Sorry to hear that you are a widow, but wonderful you have a friend to spend time with!  :)  And then we share a mutual friend that stays closer to us than a brother! :D

Wow, I guess I can't really add anything to this except "Hi, and welcome to CU Pat!" lol. Seems while I was out sick, y'all went and made a new friend or four. Anyway, Pat, if you ever want to take some photos of some really beautiful country, you should take a trip to Western Montana. Now I've never been to Canada, but I do know that it has some beautiful country as I have an Aunt who lives up top, but for the states, nothing beats Montana west of the Continental Divide. Especially this time of year. Anyway, have fun and get involved in the discussions.

By the way, Robert, your user name on here is my favourite verse.  It's meant a lot to me over the years.

I'll do my best to get around to the various sections. This is a great site.  I'll put a link to it on my site as well as we have many members in our forums who might be interested in this site.
