Title: New member/Christian Post by: harmony on October 08, 2004, 12:00:09 AM My name is Pam and not only am I new member here but am also a fairly new Christian. I was raised in a home where we went to church but nothing to back it up after church. ::) At the age of 35, I found myself wondering why I was making my children go to church and I was not. My son was baptized and I had to go. Now, I love my church, preacher, and the Lord. It's wonderful to serve the Lord individually but it's really great to serve him as a family. I have found more joy over the last 4 months! One of the greatest things just happened the other night when my 18 month old was saying his prayers before bed. When I was done praying with him, I said Amen. He then tried it but it came out Ma Men! He went around all day today saying it whenever I did. What a blessing! :D

Grace and Peace! Title: Re:New member/Christian Post by: ChristNcharge on October 09, 2004, 05:31:36 PM Welcome Pam!
I am a new member myself, so I don't know how proper it is to be welcomed by someone new... but I'm sure it can't hurt! Welcome, my sister, it's very nice to meet you. I enjoyed your short testimony very much. Especially the part about your son… children are such an amazing blessing aren’t they!? I will pray for the safety and happiness of your family Pam. May the Peace of Christ be with you and all yours. Jaime (Jay-me not Jay-m) Title: Re:New member/Christian Post by: nChrist on October 13, 2004, 11:41:27 AM Hello Pam,
WELCOME!!! Congratulations on the most important decision of your life, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. One of the wonderful things about being a Christian is that your joy continues to grow as you yield to the Will of the Lord and let Him work in and through you. I pray that you will grow strong in Jesus and experience the joy that is possible only in Jesus. You will be blessed and so will your family.
