Title: Obnoxiousness
Post by: Symphony on October 02, 2004, 10:53:46 PM

Since there was a thread on Shyness, I thought I would start one on Obnoxiousness.   8)

Does anyone have a problem with being Obnoxious?

See, now, I have a bit of a problem with this statement. Besides the fact that I have no idea what a "mo" is, I am also not a "her."

hmm, i try always to NOT be obnoxious, but yes i do have a problem or issue with people who act that way, i also have a problem with people who mouth and complain about people  to other people  which is bad enuff but theres is a lady i know that 4 times now i have caught her bouncing and mouthing about another lady and i mean tearing her apart which drives me crazy  but its made that much worse cause she does it in public places in front of people that wouldnt know wethter to beleive or not believe what she says  about the lady, so i guess i have more of a prblem with gossipers who dont only gossip but do it for all the world to hear!
there thats my issue let out  for the night lol, now i can go on to have fun here hehe..

Title: IMPORTANCE
Post by: sincereheart on October 07, 2004, 08:15:49 AM
Some people, no matter how important they may be, have the right perception of their position! Take the story found int he fine publication "Bits and Pieces" from a June 27, 1991 isue. It concerned a very important man named Irving S. Olds, who was chairman of the U.S. Steel Corporation. Olds arrived for a stockholders' meeting and was approached by a woman who was a stockholder, who asked, "Exactly who are you and what do you do?"
With no hesitation, Olds replied, "I am your chairman. Of course, you know the duties of a chairman--that's someone who is roughly the equivalent of parsley on a platter of fish."

Sister,

I think that I would like Mr. Olds and vote to keep him as Chairman.   :D

There's another reality for Christians:  we are just clumps of clay being used by God. Our happiness and joy depends completely on yielding to HIM and letting HIM use us for HIS Glory.

Love In Christ,
Tom
