Title: America's Terrorist Enemies Poised to Strike Post by: nChrist on September 25, 2004, 06:32:38 PM America's Terrorist Enemies Poised to Strike, Author Warns
by Allie Martin September 23, 2004 (AgapePress) - A security expert believes the terrorism issue will decide the upcoming presidential election. In his new book Counter-Terrorism Handbook How to Protect Yourself at Home and Abroad (Broadman & Holman, 2004), Phil Little outlines what the war on terrorism is about. He examines how people can remain safe on airplanes, in hotels, and in the streets around the world. He is convinced the U.S. must go after Islamic terrorists -- regardless of world opinion. Little says it is time for America to "take the gloves off" and openly acknowledge the nature of the struggle against terrorism. "The politically correct thing has been not to call this a Muslim war," he says, "and it's not a Muslim war against Muslims. It's against some extremists." The author notes that the German dictator Hitler was identified with the Christians in Germany, but nevertheless "killed Christians and Jews and everybody else" during his quest for world domination. "We went after him, and that didn't make every other German bad because Hitler was," Little says, "but we went and took him out. We have to do that same thing with the Islamic radical terrorists." An expert in intelligence gathering and global terrorism, Little says the United States must go after Islamic terrorists with renewed force -- or face the prospect of a massive attack on U.S. soil. "It's either going to be briefcase nukes ... or it's going to be some kind of a weapon of mass destruction," he says. "They have the capability. They have the weapons." The author says many of these weapons are already in the United States, along with people who have the capacity and will to use them. A domestic attack from America's terrorist enemies is imminent, he says, and "it's just going to be a matter of time, unless we take them out at the source." Little believes the terrorism issue could very well be the deciding issue in the 2004 U.S. presidential election. Whatever happens, he contends, America must be committed to winning the war against terrorism at all costs. --------------------------------------------------------- http://news.christiansunite.com/Religion_News/religion01576.shtml Additional information on ChristiansUnite.com is available on the Internet at http://www.christiansunite.com/ Copyright © 2003 ChristiansUnite.com.
