Title: short version of it :) Post by: rememberedone on June 01, 2003, 04:32:35 PM I was raised in a Catholic home, and learned to pray when I was young. As I got older I got involved with psychics a little, calling up the infomercials and radio stations that featured them. I also got into other things that I shouldn't have been into.
One night my mistakes caught up with me. I didn't trust anyone enough to tell them what I had done, and I had in my head that the only one who could get me out of the self made pit was God. I prayed to Him, asking Him to save me, promising Him that if He did I would never again do what I had done. I started reading the Bible and talking to Him and I had this joy, this peace, this happiness that really words can't describe. I knew Jesus Christ was real-I had never been so happy before. Nothing had given me such joy. I got out of psychics and other stuff I'd been into-my walk has in no wise been perfect. I have made so many mistakes. It seems that truley from the heart, like nobody even told you the gospel. God showed you the basic truth to know Jesus to have life!
