Gar, if you don't understand the question, that's fine. It's a tongue-in-cheek expression of my lack of confidence in the former candidate and his ability to handle terrorism, and a not-so-embellished acknowledgement of terrorist envy and need to oppress those more powerful than themselves. But that really isn't nearly as lighthearted as, "Would burkas have been the new Gore-tex?" Now that the war's being wrapped up on one front, the question comes to mind: What do *you* suppose would have been Gore's response to the WTC attack? And the 5000 who died in the wtc were attacked by...? Not the Taliban. Well, in a sense this is true. Except providing cover for a.q. might implicate them in some way? Ok... No problem. Different tribes have different ways, different headwear, etc. These things predate Islam. Get real. These are tribal people.

I'd need to see authoritative proof on the cultural mores, because I don't believe there is any difference between veils an Birkies other than the degree of oppression, both of which, by the way, still remain static to the *Islamic culture.* How would you explain this undeniable connection?
