Title: I really need your prayers, please help. No where else to turn to Post by: foruzan Safa on April 27, 2004, 12:46:42 PM ??? Dear friends, I am really sad.
I am 36 years old, and I have never gotten married.I have no idea what the problem is, I am educated, beautiful, nice, kind, ...I have met lots and lots of guys and it seems like they fall for me but they never ask me to marry and even when they do ask me something strange happens and I end up being heart-broken. All I want is to have a normal life, get married, have kids, and love my husband and kids. I am really depressed and I ask myself doesn't God want me to have a normal life???? Please pray for me to marry the right guy soon. Title: Re:I really need your prayers, please help. No where else to turn to Post by: Whitehorse on April 28, 2004, 11:14:41 PM Dear friend, I know this can be a very painful circumstance. I'm wondering if God wants you to sacrifice everything to Him. Ask Him to guide you, and seek the service of His kingdom. If it is His will, He will guide you to the right person. If it isn't, trust me, you're better off. God will give you a good life. But maybe this is something He wants you to put onthe shelf right now.

In Jesus's name Amen Title: Re:I really need your prayers, please help. No where else to turn to Post by: jive4005 on April 29, 2004, 07:15:24 AM The Lord tells us that some people are meant to be married and some are not. It is so important that we focus upon God and not this issue. By focusing on God (and not trying to "force" the issue) we allow God to do His work in this area, making sure we get what He knows is the right life for us.
O Lord of love, send this saint out to find the partner You have chosen for them. Let Your love and victory shine in this home. May the protection and annointing of our God be ever present and upon FS. Show the way, Lord. Be clear in Your leadings O great and all knowing God. In Jesus' name, amen Deke Title: Re:I really need your prayers, please help. No where else to turn to Post by: Willowbirch on April 29, 2004, 06:30:12 PM I have friends who are sharing your anxiety, foruzan. They joined a small women's group that is studying the book "Falling in Love with Jesus" by Dee Brestin and Kathy Troccoli, and they have told me what a blessing the study is; basically, the book says that no matter what your marriage condition, Jesus is your Bridegroom. He will comfort and sustain you, and He has sacrificed much to win you for His bride.

No where else to turn to Post by: archangel on May 27, 2004, 10:24:42 AM Sometimes we want something so very much that it becomes more important to us than anything else in our lives. We forget to put God first and then wait patiently after we ask for His help. We want it all our way and now. You are not alone in this, it has always been an obstacle for me and I have finally learned that things happen in His time and not mine. My part is to remember who is in the driver's seat of my life and keep Him there. I am sorry that you are hurting over this but remember Hannah's prayer in the bible. Give your love to God and he will return it in a million different ways and when you least expect it. When He shines through you, the right person will recognize the light and your worth. Be patient and know that you are loved and in our prayers.
