The meaning for Catholic or catholic can be different depending on whether it comes with "c" or "C" on the front.

Christopher, I am not loyal to the pope, and yes I believe the roman cathloic religion is false. I believe the Bible, not some man-made religion.

Ok, I get it.  You want to call yourself Catholic as in Universal.  Thats fine, but it is kind of confusing, don't you think?

Also, do you know that you wouldn't have your Bible if it wasn't created by the Roman Catholic Church?  Who do you think picked the books to be in it and copied it by hand for centuries before there were ever any other Christian chuches in existence?

That is true.  I just wonder if the Church was good enough to give us the Bible why it is not good enough to perserve the rest of the Christian faith from error.

God perserved the Word of God. Not the roman catholic religion.

The Word of God says that Jesus built a Church on St Peter.  Where is that Church?  Did it disappear?  

Peter, is NOT the Rock, Jesus is. R-E-L-G-I-O-N is N-O-T the Church. I am in the Body of Christ, which is His Church.

I believe that all saved persons of this dispensation are members of the Universal Church called the Body of Christ. All members are of equal importance and need one another for spiritual growth.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Ephesians 4:4-6,15-16.

 

Note: I believe people also believe the word Catholic means Universal Church, thats why I said I am a Catholic.

The very book that relates the only church in existence. That being Christ's. The book that relates the first century church at Rome being one local congregation among many.

When scripture mentions households being baptized, could that include infants?

Acts 16:14.  And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
