More precisely it is eternal separation [the meaning of death] from God in eternal torment in the Lake of Fire which is in "outer darkness". This is a solemn thought and a serious matter for anyone who is not saved. Title: Re:What is the second death? All mankind is born spiritually dead because of Adams transgression, (that is to say, dead to the things of God). But even the spiritually dead, after, they die physically, will be judged according to their works (Rev 20:1-13), and those (whose names are) not found written in the book of life will be cast, into the lake of fire. (Rev 20:15) So in the end everyone who has ever walked this earth, will be judged according to their works (1 Cor 3;13-15), and for who are cast into the lake of fire, that is the second death. (Heb 9:27)(Rev 20:14) There is only one way to escape, But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
