Title: WHY DOES LUKE 16:2,3,4 USE THE GREEK WORD DISPENSATION ?
Post by: dan p on June 03, 2020, 07:13:02 PM
Hi to all and in  Luke 16:2 , the word  STEWARDSHIP/OIKONOMIA  is used , in the  GENITIVE CASE  which means the  steward is  in POSSESSION  of that   STEWARDSHIP.

Also in verse 2 we see the  word  STEWARD / OIKONOMEO  and is in the  Greek  PRESENT  TENSE ACTIVE VOICE which means that this  STEWARD   is  CONTINUALLY   a  STEWARD .

Then in verse 3 we  see  THE  STEWARDSHIP / OIKONOMIA or  DISPENSATION  , but in the  ACCUSATIVE  CASE   which  means that  this  DISPENSATION is  LIMITED  to this  STEWARD in verse 3 .

Then in verse 4 we  see  of the  stewardship  , Translated  DISPENSATION  , but is in the  GENITIVE  CASE  which  means that  STEWARD  is in   POSSESSION  of that DISPENSATION .

I believe it  speaks to  Israel !
