Title: answered... Post by: kathleen5 on April 11, 2003, 07:30:24 PM My 7 yr old son tripped and fell over backwards hitting his head on the tile floor. OUCH! He was a little out of it and after he stopped crying he just wanted to sleep. I woke him in about and hour and he complained of being sick to his stomach and he wasn't answering qustions correctly. I was afraid of a concussion and on the way to the ER I just sort of shot up a God heal him plea couldn't even say it was a prayer. While we waited to see a docter a women was in the room across the hall with her daughter who looked to be about 6months old this little baby was so sick. When the mother talked with the docter she was telling him the baby had been sick on and off since she was born. I stared down at my own very healthy son (except for banging his head) and started thanking God for his health and praying for the little baby. While I was praying I felt peace flood through me. My son then asked for something to drink and after a little juice and crackers he started talking normally and said he felt fine. Praise God!!!! It wasn't like I even focused on a healing for my son but instead of the blessings I already had and God blessed us some more.

Wow! That put tears in my eye's. I'm glad your son was healed. Hopefully God also anwered your prayer for the 6 month old little girl too. I have a 7 year on son also, so your story touch my heart. Your story reminds me of a similar experience I had with my daughter this past Thanksgiving. She was playing with all her cousins and the next thing I heard was her head hitting the corner of a wall! Instantly a huge bruised goose-egg bump appeard on her forehead. Fortunately, there are many Christians in my immediate family. One prayed with me immediately while my husband was getting our daughter ready to leave. I told everyone not to worry, but it was getting late anyway so we took her home to keep a close eye on her. On the way home, she had an ice pack in her hand, but it never made it up to her head! She complained of feeling sick and wanted to go to sleep. I felt myself start to panic..then...I remembered my precious Savior was watching over His children and felt a peace come over me. I thanked Him for the peace and the knowledge of His Word and Love. I reassured her that she would be fine all the way home. We went to the mirror as soon as we got home....and Glory to God there wasn't anything to see! We had to use our hands to feel a tiny bump that remained! I wish there were more postings of answered prayers.... :-\ They are such a blessing!! Title: Re:answered... (sorry don't won't to seem to shout at you with those Capitalization letters) How many, many times that I didn't have the words or so I thought and I just said, "Jesus Help". Remember the thief on the Cross? "Lord remember me when you come into your Kingdom". That was a prayer alright and it was granted. Praise be to God who listen and answers our prayers.
