5. Likes & Dislikes (things you collect or hobbies): I am mildly obsessed with pens and stationery. My biggest hobby is reading - and writing stuff. I hate anything with velcro on it, as I can't stand the sound.

7. And last, but not least, Fav. Book of the Bible or Scripture: The Book of John, of which portion my favourite is John 11:25-6. Though I also like Ecclesiastes, Ecclesiasticus and Song of Songs.

I love books, and would be a complete tae kwon do uniform junkie if I allowed myself to gaze at the catalogs, which I never do because it's a waste of time and money. I love my uniform. More than that, I loooooooove my hiking gear. Mhm! And trail food, MREs and the like. Oh, I like the sound of my spouse's voice, and I like the velvety feel of a pony's nose. I like hanging out with my best buddy, both of them, and canoing...alright, alright, moving on. :)

Likes & Dislikes (things you collect or hobbies): Hobbies include studying church history, studying Liturgy, Following Politics, tasting and testing tobacco and Alcohol (socially, of course, neither in excess), playing folk music (main Blue Grass and Celtic), and listening to classical music. I also work-out a lot, but that has been on a back burner since school. I collect stringed instruments, and the ability to play them.

My  dislikes? Oh, you want to know what I dislike!? Oh, I will tell you the kind of things I dislike:

-Rock Music in Church
-“Independent” church who think we should dissolve denominations
-Skinny people who try to tell ME how to get buff
-Gnostic and Puritanical attitudes within the church
-No talent hacks making millions of there ability to play 3 chords of the guitar
-People who put their grubby little hands all over your music instruments, and don’t bother to ask
-Liberals
- Youth leader who rape girls and stay youth leaders
-The Southern Baptist Convention as an Organization
-People who modify their car to the max, but don’t bother to add a decent engine to it
-Black sports cars, and all the male-chauvinistic, ego-driven losers who drive them
-People who think they can play the Guitar, but can’t
-PETA

I guess I will stop here. I could go on and on about things that make me so mad!

I don't know if it is that dorks by the sports cars, or the sport car makes them a dork. And they are always the poser sports cars, too. Mustangs or Grand am, or something like that. how big is a bunch?  ???

MREs are military food. (Meals Ready to Eat.) A plant closed down not too long ago, so you can get the entrees pretty cheap. If you buy the whole meal, it's much more expensive and all you're really getting is coffeee packets, condiments, and plasticware.

You add water to the dehydrated ones, like soups, vegetables, breakfast dishes that have eggs, beef stroganoff, etc. But the turkey disks and chicken you pretty much just have to heat.

But if I'm just going for the day I don't take my stove. I just take energy bars, fruit, maybe a bagel sandwich (doesn't get crushed as easily in your pack and doesn't require bulky, heavy storage boxes to protect it the way a bread sandwich would). And of course jerky. Non-perishable protein is always a good thing. I like to make my own with soy sauce. Or you can make tofu jerky. But I've never made the tofu kind.  It sounds disgusting but I might try it if it isn't smoked. ;D Who knows; maybe it sounds grosser than it is.

And I left my 924 sitting in the driveway when I moved. petty little car only went 120 MPH :D

Let me tell ya about cooking. :P

I never cook. the samething twice.  I use no out of date receipe.  

When I place the food (done all at the same time) on the table there are never left overs for the next day.  

Cooken is done without books and measuring devices.  it is an artform. and there are not many artists, there are lots of painters.

anyole women  >:(can slap some hamburgers  in a pan, but only a  8)great 8) cook can bring aroma from the food and draw the masses without a word.  

 ;DI just so happen to love the taste of fresh Bologna sandwich topped with Tomatoes and cheese, slight amount of spicy Mustard, some dill pickles on the side with Crinkle chips and french onion dip, made fresh from a can of soup and sourcream.  Onion soup can also be used for the onion dip.  Lays Potato Chips are good if you check the freshness date and they are not too old. ;D

Avon has Thomas Kinkade mugs that have a picture of a cottage, with the windows all dark. Then, when you pour your coffee in it, the windows light up. How cute is that.

I haven't been able to find anything by star foods lately, and you probably realize Wornick no longer makes these for the public (they cannot legally sell the with military packaging.) So far Sopakco is the last one I could find that makes these, and last check, that's the brand that is available to the public by, well,  just about everyone.

Agreed! lol. Thought about a child I saw the other day in Wal Mart kicking his Mother in the leg...After about 20 times the Mother so calmly was like, "You think you could stop that little Johnny..." (Of course Im paraphrasing the name, but it was something like that) and the boy kept doing it. He was like 7-8 years old & then pulling her jacket off of her & calling her dummy head & stupid head?! Ohh man kids like that.. when i see them acting like that  and the mother or father just calmly lets them act like that , i stand there wondering if its the kid or the SUNNED adult that lets the brat act like that that needs the good swat!! (alot of times im convinces that they both need it lol) if my kids acted like that well.. im pretty flippin sure id not be taking them out again!!

My girls are learning a truth about behavior that might be less than appreciative of their mother - their mother is my wife!  If I won't let a stranger treat her that way, I'm certainly not going to allow my own flesh do so.  But fortunately we don't have those extremes.  All in all my girls are pretty good.  

When I see kids like that I tend to stare them down.  Most of them shut up about that time.   ;D
