Just dropping in to say howdy....

I'm in Canada....London,Ontario.

Married...2 Daughters...I drive a Bulk Tanker, I cross the river everyday and visit Detroit City :)....I used to be a long haul driver, have actually been in every state in the Union (Mainland) many times and all the provinces...Too many times to remember.

Now, strictly a dedicated day run..

Well, thanks for the welcome folks.:)

NateyCakes, I'm actually laid off right now. I haul Bulk Cement, dry powdered cement, about 50 tons of it. It tends to get a little slow this time of the year, every year for a cpl of months due to the weather. When it opens back up, I'll be back on the same run.

London to Detroit, Detroit to Toronto and Back To London..500 miles a day, everyday :)

Wow!! That is a LONG haul for sure!! :):)

Not too bad, depending on the Windsor/Detroit bridge situation. I usually have it done in 10 hrs or so. I deliver to Detroit, then go back to Toronto to reload and then back to London....Then do it all again tmrw. :It's 95% highway, just set the cruise for 70 MPH and away ya go...:) Stet

So for now, my major concerns are Chief Cook and Bottle Washer..LOL!!

I keep the homefront clean,do the cooking and all around live in maid ;)

My wife works also, so I do the chores...:) Stet

Thanks for the welcome ;)...I'll put a picture up, you have to promise me that you won't get scared,,LOL!!.I'm a rather large fella, I've been lifting weights for about 25 years, I have a gym at home 4 benches, ergodynamic bike, step climber, you name it, it's in my home gym ..This is my daughters favorite pic of me..They say it's got that Arnold look ;)

I got tired of waiting in lines and having to change my weight all the time at the public gyms....Sssooooo..:)

I went ahead and stocked a room in our basement.Comfortable,Convenient and I never touch the wieght displacement, I just go from bench to bench for my routines, unless I happen to be decreasing or increasing the weight.

I dwell in a youth ministry, troubled teens, abused, mentally, physically,drugs alcohol..Etc'Etc....The weightlifting is an attraction to many of them that sets their initiatives in a different direction other than inner city garbage from the streets ;) Stet

i think its wonderful thing that you work with kids to help them. Being an ause survivor myself. i understand the need for help..
Id love to hear more about what u are doing to help these dear people,,,

I too am a survivor, the Lord often sends us back to help those we know most about. ;) Stet

ohhh, Im so sorry to hear that my friend.. but your right,, In order to bring some sanity to what happened in our past , we have to try to look at it just as you say,, We can now say we understand and really mean it. Use our expierences to help others. I will add you to my prayer lists knowing that you never get totally thru it  and in helping others it sometimes brings things back. I know God can and will always be there when we need him most. God bless you for what your doing to help others.. :)
