Title: Movie: Book Of Matthew- Acts Post by: TigerLily on February 15, 2004, 01:07:08 PM I was wondering if anyone has seen the "book of Matthew" and "The Book Of Acts" movies? i have and to be honest,, i really enjoyed them, esp the Matthew.. i know theres some areas where its not maybe perfectly right on, but the general story was on with the bible,, and i liked how they had "matthew" kinda being the background reader... he literally was reading i beleive the NIV i could be wrong about the version but i did enjoy it and i find watching or even listening to the bible on tape., helps me get the picture of the whole story ect better in my mind. i do read the bible aslo but i have the new testament on tape KJV version and enjoy listening to it as i work around, very comforting..
anyways just wondered if i was alone in my opinon of these two movies.. I particularly enjoyed Jesus smiling and laughing so often in Matthew...
:) Also - the fact that there is no "added dialogue" - just scripture. Title: Re:Movie: Book Of Matthew- Acts Post by: TigerLily on February 16, 2004, 04:20:52 PM yep i totally agree, they protrayed Jesus as the loving, caring compassion filled man that i believe He was and Is..
