The home of the Concord Minuteman? The opening salvo at Lexington that gave birth to this nation--"the shot heard round the world"? "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere"? The "Boston Tea Party"? What IS it?-- a congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives from there is openly gay--and has been in that office for years, now? Their highest court is dictating homosexual policy to their legislature--"or else"? Just today, at Netscape.com: Harvard Approves Student Sex Mag BOSTON (AP) - Harvard University has approved a student magazine about sex that will feature art, sex advice and fiction - as well as photographs of undressed Harvard undergraduates. ``We are aware of the fact that some segments of the population would find the contents distasteful,'' said Associate Dean Judith H. Kidd, a member of the 14-person board that approves all student organizations. ``However, the committee considered this to be an issue of freedom of speech.'' The corn-belt is land-locked "inner" America and the porn-belt is the American coastal states. Except for a few instances (the Carolinas, Miss., & Alabamba) he is pretty much right on with his description. He also considers some of the Great Lakes states as "coastal" porn-belt states - you can guess which ones.
