Title: Older Christian, newer dispy Post by: prism on December 29, 2010, 12:41:04 AM Hello all,
Saved and started off about 36 yrs ago in a non denom. with some 'sensational' dispensational teaching, then charismatic, then Reformed Baptist, then Reformed, then Lutheran, then in a 'holding position' while back in a non denom. Past two months have beenlooking into Pauline Dispensational teaching and weighing out differences between Acts2 and mid Acts positions. I am currently siding with the mid-Acts view. At 62 this is strange, but quite an eye opener ...but if we keep seeking, He keeps leading. Title: Re: Older Christian, newer dispy Post by: nChrist on December 29, 2010, 02:03:40 AM Hello Prism,
WELCOME! (http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/tlr10/357/welcome.gif) You and I are in the same age group and probably have a lot in common. I've been non-denominational all of my life and have studied dispensational teachings in depth. I use the entire Bible, so I don't take dispensational teachings to the extreme. However, I do believe that dispensations are one of the keys to rightly dividing the Word of Truth. These terms mean something different to each person, so I really don't like to use tags and labels. I think that the writings of the Apostle Paul are a must to understand the Gospel of the Grace of God, but it takes the rest of the Bible to appreciate it. I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite. We have tons of excellent Christians materials here. Please holler if there is something special you're looking for. Love In Christ, Tom Title: Re: Older Christian, newer dispy Post by: prism on December 30, 2010, 12:39:46 AM Tom,
