It showed me so clearly the necessity of an atonement, and the greatness of God's mercy, and that we live entirely by the grace of God, and are unworthy. I thought within myself, How instructive are our failures...! But this is by no means to encourage us in carelessness. --Philip M. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! (Romans 11:32-33) Jesus said... "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."(John 8:11) But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. (Job 23:10) |
