Title: PRIMETIME 2/5/04-May I vent?!! Post by: NateyCakes on February 05, 2004, 10:48:09 PM I was flipping thru channels tonight out of pure bordem waiting for dinner to finish, I turned on Primetime. It was about a 2 gay married men adopting 4 children! Im sorry, but I was LIVID, APPAULED & SADDENED by what I witnessed! :'( >:(
They glorified the entire thing! They played soft music behind the pics they showed of these 2 men on their wedding day! They made it into this complete Love story!! Now they have 4 babies to raise in that type of enviroment?! & expect those poor children to have a "normal" life?! Ok, am I taking this to personal or going overboard? Does anyone else find this completely sick to air on national tv like this?! It is so hard to not loath them...Im not perfect, I admit that.... ((Lord, please soften my heart that I may "love" these type of ppl instead of hating them and pray for these lost souls that they might come to know you! I've parroted it before, I’ll parrot it again – you’ve probably even seen it on a bumper sticker or two: KILL YOUR TV It’s not a sin to do so. ;D I used to think I could at least watch sporting events – but after the Superbowl? Ya know I bought this HUGE 62 inch TV 2 years ago and ever since it has sat in my storage....I just have this 27 inch upstairs & I hardly watch it. After the Primetime I see why I dont. Also, its such a shame about that Superbowl too. I mean I am a football fan. I do not idolize it, but I am a fan sure and that half time was so ridiculous & uncalled for & it just has tainted that day of the game. I mean I like the game for the game. I can do without the soft porn that took place during half time. I think next year, I will throw a BIG SUPER-BIBLE Study & have lots of food! :):) lol

Last week, bored at work, I opened the latest issue of Glamour and found an article on two women, complete with pictures, on their wedding day. I was so upset and closed the magazine and vowed never to read it again. It is like the media is totally going agaisnt anything moral. Even driving around town here, I see lesbians coming out of the wood work. You know, I don't want to bash any one for the way they live, or the choices they make in life, but if they believe it to be okay....then why do they hide?
