Title: prayer fauxpas Post by: brownlamb on February 02, 2004, 09:37:48 AM I just read someones (sorry, ive read so many posts this a.m. I've forgotten who) post about praying in an almost comatose state in bed at night. THATS HOW I PRAY AT NIGHT!
I pray small prayers and just plain talk to GOD all day. But before sleep is when I do my "big" one. I knew it seemed a bit disrespectful, but I would be so tired I would convince myself it was okay as long as I was praying. :-[ Now I'm not saying HE hasn't welcomed and loved my sleepy prayers but I am sure taking the time to be respectful with my posture will be well recieved. ;D Thank you so much for your post(whoever you are) about your bedtime blunder. It spoke to me! I've only been a member for like 30 minutes or so and I have already been guided! May GOD Bless You! Our Heavenly Father hears them, even when they are unable to utter the words. I also love your description of talking to God all day. It gives peace, joy, comfort, calm, whatever you are feeling when you begin to pray will be some degree better when your done!
