I removed the links as it is against forum rules to link to false teachings.

To answer your question let's just drop the word Evangelical completely. The answer then is a resounding - NO!

As Christians we believe God's word to be truth. To reject His word is to call Him a liar and to reject Him. Jesus Christ tells us that He created all things in six literal days and that He created man in His image and that man is still in His image today. There is no doubt in this. God did not use any form of evolution in the process.

This will not be argued against here.

I 2nd this to the letter. I think it's extremely sad that a self-professing Christian would even ask a question like this. The Bible makes the hierarchy of God's Creation very blunt and simple. Man was the pinnacle and given dominion over all other living things, and only man was created in the Image of God. God Himself breathed life into man.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26-28 KJV

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 KJV

They can teach various forms of the GARBAGE theory of evolution in schools, BUT NO FORM CAN BE TAUGHT HERE!

If anyone denies the truth of God's word that he created EVERYTHING (including an intelligent man and woman) fully formed, then they are nOT of God. There is NO such thing as theistic evolution either, which is a compromise using evolution as part of the creation.

God didn't need help in creating anything. He spoke and it happened! He said "Let there be---" and it was. To deny that fact is to deny that God is omnipotent.

I had an my answer early on and it was NO.

Later however, through careful environmental changes in education, scientific discoveries, and the reading of many books on the subject matter my answer evolved.  Now my answer is NO!
