Title: Happy in Jesus?
Post by: Symphony on January 29, 2004, 12:11:22 PM
I think our central most important "theological" , or any other kind of "...-ological" question, for the Christian--in regards to his/her doctrine, daily life, etc., is, simply, whether we're "happy in Jesus".

This is not as the Gentiles live.  Until they too are born again, they couldn't care less.  Their lives are not ordered in this fashion, according to this drummer.

All of our decisions, daily, spring from this simple common denominator:  If I do this, if I do that, will I be happy in Jesus?

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Good post brother, here are a few more verses to support
your post.

respectfully yours in Yeshua:

The things I "think" can be counted on one hand - and bein' smart is not one of them.

(Remember - that's why you divorced me.)  ;D
