Title: 30 Days at C-Unite Post by: JudgeNot on January 28, 2004, 11:50:15 AM 30-days at ChristiansUnite – The observations of a ‘newbie’.
OK – I’ve been here almost every day for a month, and I feel blessed to have found C-Unite. I haven’t interacted with all of you, for those of you who I have interacted with: Blackeyedpeas: Hope & strength. (Thank you Mr. BEP.) Reba: I only need a 4-word vocabulary: “yes”, “no”, “buzz”, and “off”. Reba is the ex-wife I will never have. ;D Michael_Legna: Take the old adage “A bad day fishing beats a good day working” and replace ‘fishing’ with ‘arguing’. (ML keeps his catch and freezes what he can’t eat.) Petro: Ditto the ‘fishing’ adage. (Petro practices catch and release.) Lance: How to read with a British accent. ravenloche: How to read with a Hebrew accent? 2nd Timothy: ‘Multi-tasking’ – smiling and waving at the same time. Ollie: There are some things I just can’t argue with. (In fact – there are a LOT of things I just can’t argue with!) Tibby: I was young once, too. Sower: You’ve heard say “It’s Greek to me.” Well, Sower will translate it for you. Psalmistsinger: A storybook mom. Willowbirch: That would be exactly like elmoak, or ashmaple – only different. :) Forrest: Rents a room to Willowbirch??? Whitehorse: It was only a joke, Whitehorse – only a joke. ;) Allinall: Before I take a sip of coffee, Make darn sure nothing is swimming in it. Symphony: Much, much “deeper” than hip-hop. Crusader: How ironic; a ‘crusader’ was a Catholic soldier. :-X Ambassador4Christ: In his former life he designed neon signs in Vegas. For some reason I don’t think A4C is never NOT smiling… :D :D Psalm 119: “Don’t Tread on Me”, “Live Free or Die” and “Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t after me!” (and various other ‘slogans’). Tog_Neve: King of the 5-part reply post; his masters’ thesis was at least 1,000 pages (and very well researched). Jabez: The family of Judah - 2 good verses hidden among 38 verses of “begots”. Brandie: New but old but new – a fresh viewpoint. Thank you all for putting up with me – may Jesus keep you, each and every one. Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: 2nd Timothy on January 28, 2004, 12:29:05 PM LOL
Well this thread is bound to bring more replies than the "can works save" thread! :D Grace and Peace! Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Willowbirch on January 28, 2004, 01:10:33 PM ;D Well, that about sums us up!
Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Sapphire W34P0N on January 28, 2004, 04:37:34 PM Hmm. I'm not on that list. Which means you don't like me. It's ok, though, because if you have to create a thread like this, I probably don't like you either.
Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Tibby on January 28, 2004, 07:23:19 PM Petro: Ditto the ‘fishing’ adage. (Petro practices catch and release.) Quote hahahahaha, so true! Tibby: I was young once, too. Quote I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing ;D If you where anything like I am, both ;D Quote Willowbirch: That would be exactly like elmoak, or ashmaple – only different. :) Forrest: Rents a room to Willowbirch??? So lame, I couldn't help by laugh. Then I cried. Quote Crusader: How ironic; a ‘crusader’ was a Catholic soldier. :-X I have thought that very thing many a time Quote Tog_Neve: King of the 5-part reply post; his masters’ thesis was at least 1,000 pages (and very well researched). I have serously never once seen this poster!!!! Quote Brandie: New but old but new – a fresh viewpoint. This poster either! Quote Thank you all for putting up with me – We do love you, bro. And if you even need a good, switf kick in the butt, we are here for you. Quote may Jesus keep you, each and every one. And you. Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: nChrist on January 28, 2004, 10:35:16 PM Oklahoma Howdy to Brother JudgeNot,
;D ROFL - I loved your post. Thanks! Brother, we enjoy your company and are glad you have joined our Christian family in cyberspace. I love reading your posts. Love In Christ, Tom Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: nChrist on January 28, 2004, 10:40:40 PM Hmm. I'm not on that list. Which means you don't like me. It's ok, though, because if you have to create a thread like this, I probably don't like you either. Sapphire, You are far too young to be mad at the whole world, especially your brothers and sisters in Christ. (http://www.sirinet.net/~blkidps/chillpill.jpg) I remember how hard it is to be 15 years old. Just remember that we are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Love In Christ, Tom Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Tibby on January 28, 2004, 11:46:17 PM Yeha, the 12-15 time was rough. "I'm just a Kid" by Simple Plan did a great job of capturing the pain of this age in the lyrics. Such a painful age. Before you can drive, just entering your true Teen years. Starts at 12, you are not a true teenager yet, but you are surely not a kid. And that just keep going for the next few years. The good part is, it is a small step in making you the person you are. If you don't dovelp a "lone wolf" complex, that is.
"Oh, all my friend are hanging out at the club, and I'm not. No big deal, I don't really like them anyways" Ah, good times, good times. :) Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Symphony on January 28, 2004, 11:49:18 PM Nice post, JudgeNOt. You put some work into that. :) Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: creationist on January 29, 2004, 02:33:03 AM What about me?

Tibby, do you set out to be deliberately insulting? ::) And with all your wordly wisdom at what age? Oh yeah, 19. ::) Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Allinall on January 29, 2004, 10:18:44 AM Quote Allinall: Before I take a sip of coffee, Make darn sure nothing is swimming in it. ;D Thanks for the laugh bro! And for making this place even more blessed. :) Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Allinall on January 29, 2004, 10:24:44 AM Quote Hmm. I'm not on that list. Which means you don't like me. I will point out my friend that the prerequisite to being on his list was interaction...but to make things better for you, I made a "Reasons We Like Saph" thread! I posted! I like ya! Course my discernments always been lacking... ;D I'm kidding!! Take BEP's chill pill. They're very helpful! :D Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Tibby on January 29, 2004, 10:52:14 AM sincereheart, What is the matter with it? Do you set out to deliberately be a complete jurk? I was reminiscing the hard times I had at that age. It doesn’t take a genius to agree with Tom, and add on to what he said by talking about your own experience, just a few short years ago. Honestly, what is your problem, sincereheart? I didn't think someone would get offended by a simple post, but I am truly sorry that I did.
^Willow, Take note, that is what I'm talking about^ Title: Re:30 Days at C-Unite Post by: Willowbirch on January 29, 2004, 11:59:13 AM Sapphire, You are far too young to be mad at the whole world, especially your brothers and sisters in Christ. I can drive as of today. Ye-ah. jurk Hahaha. Hahaha. My humblest apologies for sidetracking your beautiful thread, JN. You may continue with whatever conversation you were having.
