Title: A Child's Dream Post by: teddi on January 25, 2004, 10:23:07 PM 'Twas when I, but a child
Had ideas imaginative, wild, But always in my memory is A dream we built, somehow, His. My childhood chum, Harry, and I Planned a stairway to the sky: For the steps purest gold, Shining, beautiful to behold... Banisters all spotless white, That seemingly yet reflect a light. "Just think we can visit God everyday, That is, if He says we may." I thank Thee, Father, for this young dream, Though vain it was, not so it seems, Since I have learned, 'tis Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour Who holds the stairway- The Cross His labor.
