Title: Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: Psalm 119 on January 16, 2004, 01:38:42 PM I was watching The O'Reilly Factor last night (1/15/04) and a woman who is coordinating the first Family "Gay Day" was on the program. It will be held on June 17th-20th, of this year.(note: this is in addition to the "gay day's" held by the "single "gays" every June))
I would highly recommend that Christians avoid Disney altogether. But if you feel you must attend, avoid the month of June. Unless. you want your children exposed to open, "in your face", homosexuality. Psalm 119 ps This "event" has been coordinated through Disney World. Yes, she didn't want any video clips showing what really goes on during "Gay Days". That would hurt her "cause", and expose the wickedness that goes on during these "gay days". Psalm 119 Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: JudgeNot on January 16, 2004, 05:47:28 PM You know – I used to think that Dolly Parton was a good Christian woman and that her theme park “Dollywood” could be a good alternative to Ditzyland – but then I saw her on TV a few weeks ago espousing the ‘wonderfulness’ of a particular ‘lesbian union’ and how much ‘respect’ she had for their ‘courage’.
It’s getting to the point where there is no place to turn for wholesome family entertainment. Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: sincereheart on January 16, 2004, 06:28:31 PM 'Family Gay Day' - I'll prolly get flamed for this; but it just seems to be an oxymoron!

More of that tolerance stuff..... :-X Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: ollie on January 16, 2004, 08:13:26 PM Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: Symphony on January 16, 2004, 09:38:54 PM More and more everyone is going along with it--the gay thing. Blindly--self-righteously. An interesting cartoon in The New Yorker magazine this week: Noah's Ark with pairs of animals all aboard. One of Noah's sons, saying to Noah: "I have bad news. The unicorns are gay." :-X Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: JudgeNot on January 17, 2004, 12:13:11 AM Quote "I have bad news. Oops, sorry! :-X I meant that it sounds like Dolly is practicing more of that tolerance stuff! And I was always taught that the unicorns went off to play and didn't make it to the Ark. Now I know the real story.... :'( ;D Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: ollie on January 17, 2004, 08:54:18 AM (http://www.feebleminds-gifs.com/flash1.gif)

Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: Symphony on January 17, 2004, 01:57:05 PM Ooooo, I love it, Ollie. Good one. ;D
Yes, Psalm. Just like, in the New Testament, is it Jesus who says, "Remember Lot's wife"? :-X Interesting, this month's BAR(Biblical Arch'y Review), an article, with photographs, announcing the discovery, and describing the artifacts, of the apparent dwelling cave where Lot and his daughters are thot to have escaped to. It was first discovered in 1986, took them nine seasons to excavate; just now releasing the report, apparently. The site, on the southeastern(western?) of the Dead Sea, remains of a 6th century A.D. byzantine basillica. Inscribed in the mosaic floors are prayers to a "St. Lot". In the back of the sanctuary, as it recedes injto the hillside, is the cave, with an ajacent room. Found under layers of more recent refuse, on the floors of the cave, artifacts--drinking cups, pottery, etc., dating back to long before Lot would have been there, to around 3300 B.C. Apparently by the etime Lot ever got there, c. 1800 B.C.(+/-), it had already been in use for 1500 years. One of the full page color camera shots is looking through the front door way, right out onto the plain below, miles in the distance. Probly right where Sodom and Gomorrah would have been. It seems then by the 500s A.D., it was an established church fact that this was the cave Lot stayed at. Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: KT on January 17, 2004, 09:52:47 PM Actually I wasn't suprised when I heard that on Fox News. I find the Disney Corp. kind of sketchy. If you watch the children's movies ( or what are supposed to be children's movies) closely you would notice that Disney is a supporter of inappropriate behaviors. Freaky Friday for example, where in many seens they were showing Jaime Lee Curtis coming awfully close to some kissing with the high school boy who her daughter liked. Of course the daughter was trapped in her body, but even so, what it looks like is an adult woman having innappropriate feelings for a minor. Not to mention "Bend It Like Beckham" where there was a seen with sex in the bathroom, drinking and mother calling her daughter a lesbian. If you ask me (which no one did :-\) it is PG-13 pornography under the guise of Disney. I don't remember Disney movies like that when I was a kid. My kids don't watch their movies at all anymore. So yes, I expect this sort of propaganda from them.
Okay, I am off my soap box. Sorry kt Title: Re:Family "Gay Day" at Disney Post by: Symphony on January 17, 2004, 10:14:54 PM Hi, KT. Welcome back. Yes, the Disney product is typically sensual, now. Their point has shifted from typically a morality play, to a more and more carnal emphasis. This is also similar to a gripe I have about a lot of the "Christian" music, so-called( ::)). NEVER alpologize for being on your "soap box' - that's why all of us are here - to be on a 'soap box' and hear the testimony and points of view of others! Your thoughts and words are important. You never know - the life you may change with your insight may be... MINE!!! ;D |
