Title: In Paradise Post by: JudgeNot on January 15, 2004, 10:57:29 AM I would say the minister in this news story is now in paradise. The REAL paradise as opposed to the fictitious one with 72 virgins.
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=36600 Does anyone here keep up with ‘The Voice of the Martyrs’? (http://www.persecution.com) We are so BLESSED to live in a country where we can openly worship. We must pray that it stays that way – there are those who wish to make parts of the Bible ‘hate speech’ in America. Canadians can now be fined for simply displaying chapter:verse of some Bible passages. Title: Re:In Paradise Post by: nChrist on January 15, 2004, 10:10:34 PM Oklahoma Howdy to JudgeNot,
Thanks for the link to a great article that should make all of us give thanks for the religious freedoms we have left. I heard a similar story several months ago. It's hard to imagine how much that one missionary will be missed and how many lives he probably touched. The poor people he was trying to help will probably suffer the worst. He had to be a brave man and strong in faith. In Christ, Tom Title: Re:In Paradise Post by: ollie on January 16, 2004, 08:20:20 PM We the people grant these liberties and freedoms to ourselves. They come from no one but us, we the people.
Let us, we the people, not allow any person, thing , organization, or foreign potentate take them from us. The power is with us, we the people. God's will be done. But friends - many judges of the United States of America, who legislate from the bench in favor of the religion of atheism, ARE making laws respecting the establishment of a religion (atheism) and ARE prohibiting the free exercise thereof (Christianity and Judaism). Please add to your prayer list: Father I pray that you will give our federal judges respect and understanding of the 1st Amendment to the Constitution so that we may continue to worship you freely. AMEN! For all you good folks outside of the USA - the USA can use your prayers, also. |
