New Artificial DNA Points to Alien Life

CHICAGO — A strange, new genetic code a lot like that found in all terrestrial life is sitting in a beaker full of oily water in a laboratory in Florida, a scientist said today, calling it the first example of an artificial chemical system that is capable of Darwinian evolution.

These poor evolutionists are so confused they missed the obvious huge mistake they made...actually, it wasn't really a mistake, because they actually proved once again, that Darwinian evolution is not possible.
They actually had to work for over twenty years "creating" this artificial DNA!

All they really proved was life cannot arise without intelligent guidance, or in there case semi-intelligent guidance!

It is so funny that it took 20 years, using substances God provided to make something artificial  :D what a bunch of dopes! Now, I guess, all they have to do is wait millions or billions of years to see if it really "is capable of Darwinian evolution.'

Maybe it'll evolve into some kind of beaker full of oily water ;D

I was just watching a 'Mystery of Life' dvd from Answers in Genesis that reminded me of this thread:

"On the fifth day of creation, after God spangled the universe with planets, and stars and galaxies, He introduced something completly new into creation.....LIFE!

'And God said, 'Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature.' Genesis 1:20

The Bible describes a whole range of things as LIVING - from birds to cattle, from fish to humans...Even God Himself...

'The LORD is the true God; He is the LIVING God.'  Jeremiah 10:10

Since God is a Spirit, and alive, this is a clue that LIFE IS NOT PHYSICAL. But the Bible doesn't actually define what life is. When Science textbooks try to define life, they describe DNA or cells or chemical reactions - Biology textbooks end up describing what living things are made of, and what living things do. They do not actually define LIFE itself.

What happens, for example, when an animal dies? DNA and cells are still in place, but life is missing. LIFE can't be weighed or measured, it seems to be beyond the tools of science.

The non-physical nature of LIFE may explain why scientists are unsure about which things are alive. In fact, their list of living things does not entirely match the Bible's list. The Bible, for example, never defines plants as living things, instead it calls them green things...

'He searches after every green thing.'  Job 39:8

The word 'LIVING' does not appear in the Bible until God made the animals of the sea 2 days AFTER He created plants...

'God created...every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly.'  Genesis 1:21

The marvelous animals of the air, sea and land are all described as living things. Where did this mysterious life come from? We can't even restore life to an animal that has died, let alone, create life from scratch. The Bible tells us that life is a gift from God...

'O LORD,...you send forth your spirit, and they are created.'  Psalm 104:30

The abundance of LIVING THINGS all around us is a mere reminder of our LIVING GOD, WHO IS THE SOURCE OF ALL LIFE!!!

'In Him we live, and move, and have our being.' Acts 17:28"


This is an excerpt of a beautiful DVD called "LIFE" from Answers in Genesis that's about 40 minutes long. Excellent!!

Here's just a little more (because I think they're brilliant)...

"Organisms are similar in many striking ways, they're made of similar chemicals, run by a similar genetic code, and designed with similar cell structures, similar organs and similar complex organ systems like skeletons and nervous systems.

Why do we find so many similarities on so many levels? Some people believe these similarities arose because of common descent, but a Biblical perspective suggests a different reason. The Bible tells us that God created all things in the beginning. If a common designer made everything to co-exist in the same universe and follow the same natural laws, you'd expect to find many similarities among the things He created.

After all, even human designers integrate similar parts in different things they design. Architects and engineers choose similar raw materials, write similar instructions, and incorporate similar components in systems and machines. The similar integrated systems and chemicals found in living organisms give compelling evidence of a common designer - GOD!

Creation is sprinkled with similar wonders of design that are clearly God's handiwork. Consider the spiral forms in galaxies, ferns, and snails, which suggest a designer who loves beauty in His designs.

We also find complex, integrated systems in different animals which no one believes arose by common descent. Sleek designs for swimming in mammels, fish and pleseasaurs. Marvelous designs for flying in mammels, birds and terrasaurs. And elaborate, horn-like designs in mammels, dinosaurs and insects.

In every corner of the universe - at every level of organization - the hand of God is clearly seen...

I really do enjoy the information and teaching materials that Answers in Genesis puts out.
