Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Most likely you are referring to one of the following verses. Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 1Jn 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. What this is talking about is the rejection of the Holy Spirit, the rejection of the saving grace of God. Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Those who are not not born again are already spiritually dead in trespasses and sin. We will die a physical death even if we confess our sins.
