I believe in the motto, "Be a Blessing to Someone!" I try to help the poor street people who live in Grand Rapids, MI. I have taken food like apples, bread, bagels and fruit and handed in out to these people. I have handed out blankets and clothes. I have sat and talked with them, listening to their joys and saddness. I feel by doing this , I am Blessing someone. I used to cook at our local soup kitchen, until I became physically disabled, but I always loved doing that. Also, at the soup kitchen, they had a "free clothing" room. What a blessing it is to see someone getting warm coats and things that they need! I knit and crochet, and my goal this winter and spring is to make up some hats and mittens to give out there next fall.

I believe in this motto too. I set at the table and worked some days ago. I knew it was important. I serve in Bible Correspondence School. One man came in. He needed a help. I thought: my serves is important, But hi is my neighbor. We spoke 3 hour. He was so close to suicide, And Satan tortured him. God used me as a Blessing to Someone. I know this man repented before God some day later in Church. I know my best serves is Be a Blessing to my neighbor. So that is my story. :) |
