Experience Obama or Palin?

Well, we keep seeing the Old Media blasting (or trying to) John McCain’s bold choice for his vice president, Sarah Palin. They keep pretending that Palin has no “experience.” Of course, they refuse to say a word about Barry Hussein Obama’s thin resume, but hey… THAT’S why they are the Media. To take the side of the far left.

Still, I thought it might be interesting to see Barry’s record next to Sarah’s. Now, remember, Barry is the guy that the extremists on the left say is “qualified” to be the actual president and Palin is only running for vice president.

Summary:

Never achieved any major accomplishment after Harvard. Was not a leader of extraordinary courage, did not reach across the aisle, and was responsible for no major initiatives that changed the corrupt Chicago way of business. Never owned a business, has no executive experience at all.

    * Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission 2003 - 2004
    * Rooted out major corruption and fought party bosses (and won)
    * Governor of Alaska, 2006-present
    * Beat party bosses and incumbent Gov of her own Party, ran on an anti-corruption platform

Professional Experience:

    * First Place, Miss Wasilla Beauty Contest, 1984
    * Second Place, Miss Alaska Pageant, 1984
    * Television Sports Reporter, 1987-1989
    * Owns commercial fishing business with husband

Summary:

Achieved much in her family life. Took on corrupt party bosses in several capacities and won. Became Governor and gained executive experience. She’s had time to achieve all this before she is 50-years-old AND have 5 children! Simply astounding.

Obviously, I’d stack Palin’s far more extensive experience against Barry Hussein Obama’s any time. At LEAST Palin’s done something. Unlike Barry who has thus far wasted his potential.

And a whole lot of my time getting the word out of what farce he is.

The left is having a real problem with Sarah Palin. They tried to use the "lack of experience" slams against her just to have them backfire on them since we can see from the above post that she is more qualified to be a Vice President than Obama is to be President.

Since they can't attack her on any other area they are now making things up. One moonbat came up with the idea that the down syndrome baby is not her's but rather her daughters. Yep, a big conspiracy that involves many Drs, nurses, an entire hospital and an untold amount of other people.

Even Alan Colmes had to weigh in on her morals in a very nasty manner as a means to question her judgment. He questioned her judgment of "eloping" and having her first child 8 months later. He even mentioned her giving birth to a down syndrome baby as a reason to question her judgment. The only things these situations prove is that she does in fact live the moral life that she publicly supports. It appears that she might have made a mistake before getting married. If so she did the right thing by getting married. Giving birth to a down syndrome baby just proves that she is against abortion and does support the right to life of all babies. These stories just solidify all the more that she is the person to vote for.

I just saw another article on her that had my eyes opened wide. Sarah Palin went to Kuwait on her own time and money to visit the Troops and it wasn't during a time (2007) that it could be tied as an election gimmick. She even went to a Military rifle training exercise and shot an M-4. A voice in the background could be heard saying "Yeah, you’re pretty much hitting it dead center." Not at all unbelievable as she is an avid hunter along with her husband.

Maybe they got it confused with Obama's birth certificate!

To rebut rumors, Palin says daughter, 17, pregnant

The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin's five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said.

"We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us," the Palins' statement said.

"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support," the Palins said.

The Palins asked the news media to respect the young couple's privacy.

"Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media, respect our daughter and Levi's privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates," the statement concluded.

MCCAIN KNEW

Senior McCain campaign officials said McCain knew of the daughter's pregnancy when he selected Palin last week as his vice presidential running mate, deciding that it did not disqualify the 44-year-old governor in any way.

In the short period since she was announced last Friday, Palin has helped to energize the Republican Party's conservative base, giving the McCain camp fresh energy going into the campaign for the November 4 election against Democrat Barack Obama.

McCain officials said the news of the daughter's pregnancy was being released to rebut what one aide called "mud-slinging and lies" circulating on liberal blog sites.

According to these rumors, Sarah Palin had faked a pregnancy and pretended to have given birth in May to her fifth child, a son named Trig who has Down syndrome. The rumor was that Trig was actually Bristol Palin's child and that Sarah Palin was the grandmother.

A senior McCain campaign official said the McCain camp was appalled that these rumors had not only been spread around liberal blog sites and partisan Democrats, but also were the subject of heightened interest from mainstream news media.

"The despicable rumors that have been spread by liberal blogs, some even with Barack Obama's name in them, is a real anchor around the Democratic ticket, pulling them down in the mud in a way that certainly juxtaposes themselves against their 'campaign of change,'" a senior aide said.
