Title: petitioning to God by fasting Post by: David_james on August 23, 2008, 08:22:57 AM Is it right to petition to God to do something by fasting? I think it is but want to make sure.
Title: Re: petitioning to God by fasting Post by: Soldier4Christ on August 23, 2008, 09:10:32 AM Brother, Fasting is something that is taught in the Bible even in the New Testament. Sometimes it is not feasible though for some of us to do so. It is not something that God requires of us to do nor would He expect it from those of that it would cause further complications for our health. Irregardless of whether we fast or not He will still listen to us.
