            Lord, I stand before You
            Full of pain and fear
            I'm feeling oh so weary
            I hope that You are near
            To capture all the groanings
            The pangs of pure despair
            As I fall off Your path again
            I hope that You are there.

            It was so good to be Your friend
            And everything was great
            But I got dragged down by the world
            That was a big mistake
            Please give me strength to clamber back
            Into Your arms of peace
            You've promised to deliver me
            So put my mind at ease.
