Title: Re:stressed Post by: Kris777 on January 05, 2004, 06:41:16 PM We are making it Ok so far. We have had ups and downs. The biggest help is God. I know I would be going nuts if it wasn't for Him. Please pray for my family on the 12th. That day we have a court date set. Please also pray that the person that falsely accused my family member desides to tell the truth, because if that person doesn't then my family member could get 30 years of prison for something he didn't do! I think that we should do fine though because that person changed their story about 4 times now!
Thanks for your prays, Kris Title: Re:stressed Post by: Symphony on January 06, 2004, 01:44:44 AM Thank you, Kris. Yep, I'm praying for you and your family in this... In Jesus' Name... :) Title: Re:stressed Post by: Kris777 on January 06, 2004, 08:28:23 PM Now the court date is moved again. It was moved one time because the court had to do a murder case. Now it is moved because our lawyer's dad is sick and he has to go to Florida and because the judge is going to be gone that day. This is crazy. We have been living like this for a year. At least we aren't being stalked by the accusers anymore.
Title: Re:stressed Post by: Symphony on January 06, 2004, 10:25:26 PM Hm. Okay... Title: Re:stressed Post by: Willowbirch on January 07, 2004, 08:26:06 PM I think that we should do fine though because that person changed their story about 4 times now! Hm! That doesn't sound like a very solid story! :-\ Praying for your family! May the Lord give the judge wisdom to find the truth! Thanks for your prays, Kris Title: Re:stressed Post by: Symphony on January 13, 2004, 06:47:56 PM How's it goin' on this, Kris777? Title: Re:stressed Post by: Kris777 on January 13, 2004, 07:10:31 PM The date got moved to some time in March. Right now it is just long and drawn out. We're hanging in there. I think the only think that this has done so far for damage is stress (both my parents have to work the same shift so now I am playing mom. Don't get to see my parents much. When we are at school they are home and leave for work a little before we get home, then they get home at 11 at night)
But it has also done good things like brought us closer to God and brought our family closer together. When we are at school they are home and leave for work a little before we get home, then they get home at 11 at night) :'( So sad for your situation - but joyed that you can draw nearer to your family and the Lord! That is a great blessing, despite your hardships! But it has also done good things like brought us closer to God and brought our family closer together. I think everyone knows a little about "playing mom". It can be very stressful! (If you are burdened with keeping house, meals, etc., I know of a website that has been very helpful to our family. flylady.net) It breaks things into manageable pieces. If you get confused, just ask! ;) Basically, you start each new day by a quick "clean-up" and shoes on your feet (very helpful, you'd be surprised!) Then you attack chores in small bites, just a few minutes for each task. Keep the sink clean and shiny. By taking small steps, life is less overwhelming. The theory can be applied to Christian growth as well. Always doing a little at a time, without killing yourself trying to do it all at once. Sorry for blabbing! :D Title: Re:stressed Post by: Symphony on January 14, 2004, 11:19:11 AM Good post, willow.
