Title: Isreal's baptism Post by: dan p on July 24, 2008, 07:00:04 PM When Christ came in the flesh to Isreal, Jesus was born under the Law, lived under the Law, kept the Law, and died under the Law. So to me Isreal was in Covenant relationship with God, they had a temple, a Priesthood, any Jew could give a sacrifice for individual sins, SO MAY question , why did God send John the Baptist to baptize Isreal ?
