Title: Unclean animals Post by: smartinez1984 on December 29, 2003, 10:21:52 AM Does the bible mention anywhere (I read through Leviticus) on WHY God decided to call certain animals unclean? We had this discussion in Sunday School yesterday and no one was able to come up with an answer.

I am sure He had some good reasons such as in the case of PORK in the pre- refrigeration era, it spoils very easily and could have made them very sick. Some animals were used in the sacrifices, but not others.
So, I don't think we can know in explicit terms- IMO but I would like to see an answer if there is one. aw |
