Title: LIGHTHOUSE Post by: verseode on May 31, 2008, 11:06:50 AM We are a people designed for His sake Reflecting His love to the lost Just like a lighthouse, we shine out to sea As onto the rocks they are tossed Able to rescue the broken and hurt Providing a salve for their needs The power of Jesus can do many things If through Him, their hunger we feed. But as we are insular, selfish and proud We do not stray far from our church Once we have satisfied all our desires Exhausted, we drop from our perch So let us consign all our self to the bin Cause God cannot use us as such Remember the vessels that we're sposed to be And kick all of Me into touch. |
