Title: Humility
Post by: Symphony on December 24, 2003, 11:43:28 PM

I have a problem here(or everywhere, or anywhere) with humility.  Does anyone else have that problem?

As the humiliator or the humiliated?

Is humility the same as humble?

Yeah, I’m a pretty cocky, egotistical kind of guy  ;D

I'm using the 19 year old weight lifter excuse this time ;D Petro will be so proud.

Word to the wise: this is the kind of question that cannot be answered in your favor.

:) Painfully true. We still live in corrupt flesh; though our spirits would have heavenly things, the body is weak, and absurdly boastful sometimes. Poor, blundering little human-flesh, when will you take off that blindofld and realize you're not so great as you think?

 :P

Hmm, yikes, Whitehorse, I really stepped into it, didn't I.  :-[

Ooo, ooo, ooo, Ollie, you just hit for a new championship wrestling title:  "The Humiliator".   8)   How do you like that one, Tibby.

We'll have to think of a motto.  Hmm.

Anyway, Ollie, yes, I think more humiliating, than I am humiliat'ed.  I need to, as they say, "take a walk around myself".

I think humility and being humble are similar.  It says in Numbers that "...Moses was the most humble of all men on the earth..."  (I think in ch. 12...).

Well, if we say yes, then there's an admission. But if we say no, then it sounds like we're boasting, and we contradict ourselves. ;D

Clever, clever.  ::)
