            Every day brings something new
            Clinging to the roller coaster
            Helps to undermine our view
            Soon we're getting overtaken
            Can you start to feel that weight?
            Darkness falls upon our being
            We are getting in a state.

            Hang on, haven't we a saviour?
            Waiting for our anguished cry
            He can solve our pressing problems
            But we leave Him standing by
            Let Him lift the boulder off us
            Share each aching hurt and pain
            He will wash away our sorrow
            Soothing us with healing rain.
