Title: A Christmas heart!
Post by: countrycat on December 18, 2003, 02:53:38 PM
I feel I have a "Christmas Heart". Even though DEc. 25th is a "chosen" date of celebration, it is a day for all to come together in His name. As family, friends and brothers and sisters of Christ. It is a day of remembering, and worship...a day of prayer and contemplation. It is a day that fills my heart with Hope! It is a day I care for someone less fortunate, call long lost friends and give a special gift to at least ONE stranger. Last year it was a box of homemade cookies to a waitress, who had to work on Christmas day. The box came with the story of Christ, and a prayer for her . My heart is filled with joy in Him every day, but, on Christmas Day..it nearly bursts!!! It is SO filled, I must give of His love to all I meet!
Blessings,
Cathe

Oklahoma Howdy to Countrycat,

Amen - I enjoyed your post. While reading it, I was thinking of one of my favorite songs, "Heavenly Sunlight". Thanks for sharing with us.

In Christ,
Tom
