I just saw quite a charming story in Ha'aretz, which I thought I'd share with you :)

Free freshly felled fir trees to bring Christmas cheer

More than 1,700 Christmas trees will be distributed for free by the Jewish National Fund this month to Christians living in Israel.
 
The JNF, which receives lists of religious leaders and diplomats who request trees from, respectively, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will distribute 1,500 of the freshly felled trees at the Givat Yeshayahu Nursery, outside of Beit Shemesh on December 16.

"We've already ordered 15 trees and we may end up ordering more than 20," says Yousef Barakat, business manager of the Notre Dame Catholic Center in Jerusalem, who received a Christmas tree order form last month from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Barakat plans to drive out to Beit Shemesh and distribute trees to his church's schools and religious affiliates.

:-\ I don't think he looks very kissable at the moment. You might lose your lips...
