Title: Responsibilities of the rich Post by: phillip on January 27, 2008, 08:59:40 PM I Timothy 6:17-18 says, "Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, wiling to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."
Rich people should first of all place their trust in Jesus Christ to the saving of their souls. Then they should share of their wealth to less fortunate believers, do good works, and communicate with other believers in fellowship and testimony. |
