She did, as far as I know. She had to go through several tests to prove she was physically inable to work for a living. She is still struggling, though. Either her allowance for medicine is not great enough, or she has not yet received it. :'( She has diabetes, and is not always able to afford insulin.Title: Re:My mother Post by: aw on December 19, 2003, 04:24:07 PM On the temporal side- she may be able to enroll in a cardiac rehab program or exercise program for diabetics at a local hospital or college. I know Duke has such if she is near Durham.

Does it have anything to do with hardening of the arteries? I just heard about a brand new treatment. An iv that can remove it in a matter of weeks.
