Title: Who is AC Post by: michael_legna on December 09, 2003, 04:45:33 PM I just wanted to ask who is Ambassodor4Christ in relation to the board. I know he is a gold member - so I assume he has been allowed to post for a long time. But is he an admin or moderator? I ask because lately he has deleted posts asking questions about his long submittals and otherwised ducked issues> On top of that he now has a thread "So You Don't Want To Be Religious? Terrific!" that I for one cannot post responses to because the quote this message icon is gone. Also the thread where he put the posts asking him questions is called "DELETED and Moved" which is also blocked from posting through the removal of the quote icon. Not to mention that the name is demeaning to those whose posts he placed there.
I quess my question is for the admins of the board. Is he a moderator? If not how did he get the power and authority to treat others posts in this way? I want to know because if he is just a regular user he should eb warned not to do this again. If he is a moderator I need to reconsider my participation in this forum as it would indicate a support of his views which are a fairly fringe form of Chrisitianity and a lack of respect (to the point of refusing to enter into polite conversation about these topics) for other poster. Anyone who can let me know what is going on would be much appreciated. Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: 2nd Timothy on December 09, 2003, 06:37:32 PM Hi michael,
Welcome to the board. The moderator on the board is blackeyepeas. I'm not sure if A4C has moderator privaledges or not, but I am sure that the moderator has the ability to close threads he deems irrelevant. As I am faily new here myself, I can offer a word of advice and encouragment for you though :) As with any message forum, you will not always agree with some of the content posted by others. I think for the most part, christiansunite has a solid base of christ believing members. You may find some differing perspectives on various topics, but I wouldn't let that discourage you from participating. There are many other threads you can engage in, and avoid all out arguing. Disagreements are bound arise, but it seems most folks around here can agree to disagree. Don't be discouraged! Just find threads you can enjoy and dive in. This is what I do. If I come across a thread that raises red flags, it challenges me to find out for myself what Gods word has to say about it, and go from there. Hope this helps :) Grace and Peace! Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: nChrist on December 09, 2003, 07:13:19 PM Oklahoma Howdy to Michael_Legna,
The one who starts a thread may lock or unlock the thread they started, and that would be anyone as long as they started the thread. In the example you cite, the poster evidently didn't wish to argue, reposted, and locked both threads. The original poster can't delete the posts of others, and that's why he had to repost in another thread. I have deleted the thread named "Deleted - Moved". In the future, I would appreciate you simply sending me a private message. I hope this solves the mystery for you. Love In Christ, Tom Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: Tibby on December 10, 2003, 12:20:44 AM besides, most is the post on his post count are spam ;D

I am sure if you stay around A4C will debate you on most of your doctrine. :) Brother Love :) Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: michael_legna on December 10, 2003, 08:13:35 AM Oklahoma Howdy to Michael_Legna, The one who starts a thread may lock or unlock the thread they started, and that would be anyone as long as they started the thread. I have two more questions just to make sure I understand everything. If I (or anyone else) wants to start a thread just to post our opinion without anyone else interjecting can we do that? I find that unusual for a forum but it's kind of a neat forum if the whole place doesn't end up with that type of advertisement threads. Secondly, you asked me in the future to send you a message privately. My question is how? I see there is a link to report things to a moderator but I assumed that was to be used for issues of strange very unchristian doctrine which was not the case this time. The sceond part to this question is why privately? I certainly hope anyone who has a problem with my behavior questions me about it in front of all the others so it can be handled openly and once for all. But since it is your board I will handle it however you want to do it. Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: Forrest on December 10, 2003, 08:55:19 AM Michael_Legna;
The easest way is to go to his post under his name you will find 5 secions the bottom has 3 parts the frist is his profile, the next is his web site the next looks like a scroll that will link you to the PM sys. When you frist sign on, the top right of page tells you of messages for you. Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: nChrist on December 10, 2003, 08:56:04 AM Oklahoma Howdy to Michael_Legna,
We don't allow advertisements here. I'm not sure why you would call a locked message or thread an advertisement. You can start another thread to reply if you wish, but you shouldn't expect a reply from the poster from the first thread. Some folks simply don't wish to argue or debate, or they limit it. Yes, we handle lots of things privately with private messages. Many things are nothing but misunderstandings like this. Others might involve accusations that are false, nit-picky, or based on folks who simply can't get along. NO, we really don't want that kind of stuff all over the board. We really don't need or want a public grand jury every time someone has a bad hair day or misunderstands. We don't do public trials here. Lastly, it is not my board. I am only the moderator. If you push the moderator button on a specific message, a message block comes up, you type what you want, and I get it with a quick link to the specific message. You can also click on the "Private Message" icon under anyone's handle (nick) to send a message. In Christ, Tom Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: Tibby on December 10, 2003, 09:52:39 AM besides, most is the post on his post count are spam ;D Tibby, your the King of Spam :)Then why are you abve me in the top 15 posters list? ;) Title: Who is AC Post by: Brother Love on December 11, 2003, 04:28:38 AM besides, most is the post on his post count are spam ;D Tibby, your the King of Spam :)Then why are you abve me in the top 15 posters list? ;) :) Brother Love :) Title: Re:Who is AC Post by: Ambassador4Christ on December 31, 2003, 04:40:07 PM I just wanted to ask who is Ambassodor4Christ in relation to the board.
